The department of Physical Education commenced its operation in the academic year 2012-13 as a General Course subject. From the session 2018-19, the department, as per the regulation of the University of Calcutta, has started the CBC System. The department is run by two highly able and dedicated guest lecturers. The department regularly holds practical classes in the field of the college and plays a pivotal role in the Annual Sports of the college. The students of the department has successfully participated in the several sports programme at the university and the State Level. The result of the department is the university exam is commendable with several successful students of the department now placed in several sectors of gainful employment. The healthy teacher-student relationship is the hallmark of the department.
