Being guided by the Government of West Bengal, the Higher Education Department has launched the Student Credit Card Scheme to assist students in the state in pursuing their education without financial limitations. Undergraduate students pursuing Major and MDC courses at Purash Kanpur Haridas Nandi Mahavidyalaya can avail the benefit of this scheme.
A student can get a maximum loan amounting to Rs. 10 lakhs at a 4% annual simple interest from the State Cooperative Bank and its associated Central Cooperative Banks, District Central Cooperative Banks, and Public/Private Sector Banks. A 1% interest concession will be granted to the borrower if the interest is completely paid during the study duration. The duration for repayment will be fifteen (15) years for any loan obtained through this Credit Card.
