Purash-Kanpur Haridas Nandi Mahavidyalaya has ‘zero tolerance’ policy on ragging. It takes stern action against ragging as per the Anti-ragging Act, 2000 of Govt. of West Bengal and the Supreme Court’s order of May 2007. If reported, it will lodge F.I.R. and rusticates the students involved in any form of ragging. Punishments of the students indulged in any form of ragging include jail for 2 years,, penalty of Rs. 5000 or both.
Ragging victim can lodge complaint against any form of ragging to any member of the Anti-ragging Cell/Squad.

Anti-ragging Squad
Mahavidyalaya also has formed an Anti-ragging Squad for making surprise as well as planned vigilances to different classes, canteen, common rooms, playground, library and offices in order to curb ragging.
